Matt Cefalu
Guitar, Vocals, Kazoo, Percussion
Matt is from Rochester, NY, about an hour east of Buffalo, NY and is currently majoring in Theater at Valparaiso University. Matt spent a lot of time singing in his Lutheran church choir for about 12 years of his life. He started out playing the trombone in elementary school for a few years but then left it behind in middle school for the desire to pursue the guitar, which he began playing in early high school.
Matt continued his guitar playing in a Lutheran youth contemporary service band sponsored by the Genesee Finger Lakes Conference of the Lutheran Youth Organization. Branching off of this service band became the Christian rock group known as Pure Ink, where Matt helped lead composition and wrote three of his earliest songs.
Matt enjoys a wide variety of music, from Jack Johnson, Guster, The Decemberists and The Shins all the way to Jurassic 5 and A Tribe Called Quest. Influences include Jack Johnson, Dispatch, Guster, Damien Rice and Ray Lamontagne.

Marcus Lohrmann
Guitar, Vocals, Harmonica, Percussion
Marcus Lohrmann grew up in Walla Walla, Washington. His earliest memories of music include listening to choral music, singing Beatles songs with his older brother (writer of “Beer Valley” and “Tell Me the Truth”) and using pencils to drum along with the solo in “Indagaddadavida” by Iron Butterfly.
Lohrmann began playing the piano at an early age but abandoned the instrument later for the loud attraction of percussion. After several attempts at being a drummer, Lohrmann found himself most at home singing, playing the guitar, and writing songs. Since he was 15, Lohrmann has been playing with a group of young Lutheran musicians, The Western States Servant Band, leading music around the western half of the country.
His influences include Bob Dylan, The Shins, Phish, Wilco, Norah Jones, Bruce Springsteen, and The Beatles, as well as many others.

Dan Trubey
Bass Guitar, Percussion
Daniel Trubey is from Upland, Ca and is currently going to school at Valparaiso University in Indiana.
Daniel started playing violin while he was in preschool. During late elementary school he picked up percussion. After trying out for the proclaimed Claremont Young Musician’s Orchestra (CYMO) on both violin and percussion and only making it in on percussion, he dropped the playing of violin all together and focused on percussion in CYMO and drum-set in his schools jazz band for the next 6 years. Only in the last couple of years has he begun playing bass. He finds that bass combines his experience with violin as well as rhythm instruments into one.
The styles of music he is most inspired by are: Funk, Prog-Rock, Avant-garde, Experimental, Hard Rock, and Electronica. Inspirational bands include: Queen, RHCP, Sly and the Family Stone, Led Zeppelin, Muse, Pinback, Disturbed, Billy Talent, System of a Down, and many others.

John Williamson
Drums, Vocals, Percussion
John Williamson is from Algonquin, IL and has been enjoying live music in Chicago since he was old enough to take the train by himself. His love for music began in 5th grade when he picked up the French horn. During this first year in music, he switched over to percussion and has been playing drums ever since. Dabbling in piano, guitar, and bass, he always returned to what came easiest – drumming.
John has been performing music in front of audiences since he was 12. Performing in Concert bands all through middle and high school, Jazz bands in middle school, high school, and college, marching bands and pep bands in high school, and in personal bands since his Freshman year of high school, John has been doing what he loves for about half his life – playing live music.
His musical styles range from hard-core math-metal to jazz to symphonic. All music is an inspiration to him, but some of his favorite inspiring artists include: Rx Bandits, Dispatch, Fear Before the March of Flames, Muse, Radiohead, Brand New, Steel Train, and many more.
